Princesses Sleeping Beauty and Little Mermaid were thrilled to get another invitation to a Calgary tea party. This time, the tea party was outdoor on a front lawn on 23rd Avenue in historic Ramsay with beautiful century-old castles (you know the kind that are about 100 years old found in the central regions of Calgary). All the neighbours were out enjoying the great weather and sharing homemade treats, locally grown produce, special neighbourhood stories, works of art, dance performances, photography and a princess tea! Offered at the tea were local teas on a beautiful castle lawn. It was a mild fall afternoon and it was well spent connecting with neighbours and anyone interested in the renowned creative talent alive on 23rd Avenue.
After all of the excitement of the afternoon tea, socializing with kids and parents alike, despite drinking many of cups of tea, Sleeping Beauty had a nap to catch up on some beauty sleep.
It was such a great time that the princesses are hoping that this event becomes an annual celebration! (and with the same wonderful weather please!).
