FairyTalePrincessParty and Valentine the facepainter were invited back this year to entertain kids at the Westwinds Music Society Summer Festival. This year, the celebration was extra special as this was Westwinds 25th anniversary! Princess Snow White raved about the event last year, so Princess Beauty from Beauty and Beast made sure that she didn’t miss the event this year. The sun was out in full force and both Valentine and Princess Beauty were very thankful that they had lots of sunscreen on hand.
Having had many requests for music-related cheek art last year, Valentine made sure that she practiced her treble clefs before arriving to the fabulous Park 96. It was relaxing to enjoy the great music that was played at the park while painting faces.
Princess Sarah came to visit again. Princess Beauty was told that Princess Sarah would soon be moving to a house with a princess landing. That’s a landing where a princess can pause, look out, wave to her prince, pose for pictures and then proceed to continue down the stairs. How exciting!
It was a great day in the park spent enjoying great music from orchestras, female choirs, male choirs, and mixed choirs all dressed in a rainbow of colours.
Photographer Richard Betts took fabulous photos of the event that he has allowed us to share with you here:
